ALIEN AFFECTED and The Anunnaki is the first book of the ALIEN AFFECTED adult romance series based in New York and LA in 2024 and edited in US English. The main character is a 22 year-old girl called Madi Monrose who is a struggling singer in New York with dreams of finding true love and becoming a pop star.

Always an outsider who never fits in, Madi believes her dreams of fame and fortune will give her the happiness to define who she is. Every week, Madi is watched by a handsome 28 year-old admirer during her performances in a live music bar, and she feels a deep connection to him, but they never speak. Ninurta Angelini, a 32 year-old billionaire music executive and star-marker, offers Madi a record deal, but on the condition that she must seduce Ninurta's half-cousin, Marduk Angelini, into telling her the location of a tower Marduk is building. Ninurta is Marduk's bitter enemy and wants to destroy this tower. Madi jumps at the opportunity.

Inanna Angelini, Ninurta's 26 year-old cousin, takes Madi under her watchful eye. Madi embarks on a sexual and spiritual journey as a young woman exposed to scandals, a luxurious life, and surreal experiences between New York and LA. Madi learns a lot about the dark side of the music industry and how it is really run behind closed doors, with Ninurta and Enlil abusing many who depend on them to make it in music.

Madi is introduced to Marduk and discovers he is her admirer and twin flame love. Betraying him is the hardest thing she can do. Marduk explains that the Angelini family are the royal Anunnaki aliens in human disguise, continuing a family war over humanity and Earth.

Madi learns about the Anunnaki history from the ancient Sumerian texts and more especially, that Lord Enki created humanity from genetic engineering the Homo erectus ape. Humanity is ALIEN AFFECTED with alien DNA and is still affected by aliens. This powerful ancient knowledge is the key to a human's healing and self-empowerment.

Ninurta warns Madi that he will destroy her life if she doesn't find out Marduk's tower location. Madi faces extraordinary challenges as she has to chose between her music career and her twin flame love, while facing her own insecurities and spiritual healing.
